Norway's Ostigard joins Rennes from Napoli

Norway central defender Leo Ostigard has signed a three year deal to join Rennes from Napoli, the French top flight club said on Tuesday.

The 25-year-old helped Napoli win the Italian league in 2023 and has also played in England with Brighton, Coventry and Stoke.

"Leo is a determined player, who never gives up and who will know how to transmit his will to win to the entire locker room," said Rennes chief Olivier Cloarec.

Rennes finished tenth in Ligue 1ast season as they were eliminated from the Europa League 5-3 by AC Milan.
