Report: Chelsea sign Gusto for initial €30M, loan defender back to Lyon

Chelsea completed another winter signing after securing the future services of teenager Malo Gusto.

The Blues reached an agreement Friday to sign the 19-year-old right-back from Lyon for an initial €30 million plus add-ons, transfer insider Fabrizio Romano reports.

As part of the deal, Gusto will reportedly remain at Lyon on loan until the end of the season before linking up with Chelsea in June.

A report earlier this week indicated that Gusto is eager to join the Premier League club and that he agreed to terms on a six-and-a-half-year contract.

Gusto has appeared in 47 games since making his Lyon debut at age 17.
