United States international Timothy Weah is headed out on loan from Paris Saint-Germain for six months, he confirmed on Instagram on Christmas Day.
The 18-year-old phenom saw action with PSG in August but has since been with the reserve squad.
Rumors have him landing with Celtic, after he followed numerous players from the Scottish outfit on Instagram, according to ESPN. Meanwhile, The Guardian writes Celtic's in "pole position" to land the youngster.
Weah's long-term future does appear to be in Paris, though, as he wrote in his caption that he hopes to return to the Parc des Princes after his loan is up.
The forward made his debut for the U.S. in 2018, playing in his first game in March and scoring his first goal in May.
