The 2018 FIFA World Cup may have finished 10 days ago, but members of the France team are still winning awards.

Stuttgart defender Benjamin Pavard, who was something of a revelation playing out of position at right-back in Russia, has been honored with the official Goal of the Tournament gong for this stunning strike in the manic 4-3 win over Argentina in the round of 16.

Pavard's flat, swerving hit, which drew the score to 2-2 at the time, has come out on top in a tournament boasting numerous terrific goals. It may also have helped to earn him an ahead-of-schedule transfer to Bayern Munich.
