Bortoleto finished 18th in the Bahrain Grand Prix at Malaysia F1 race at Sepang International Circuit on Sunday.
Analysis:Bortoleto had an excellent start to the weekend, reaching Q3 to start inside the top 10 for the third time in the last four races. He remained in the points fight for the early portions of the grand prix. However, Bortoleto made a key mistake after switching to slicks and crashed into Carlos Sainz Jr., ruining both their races. Bortoleto was then given a 10-second penalty, further burying him toward the back of the field.
