Bottas crashed and finished 22nd in the Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia Formula 1 race at the Sepang International Circuit on Sunday.
Analysis:The gamble to start the race on slick tyres would ultimately be Bottas' undoing in this wet Bahrain Grand Prix. The Cadillac Racing veteran would slip from his P19 starting spot back to last place by lap 5. On lap 7 he would lose control in the wet conditions and spin off track into the gravel trap bringing out the safety car. His day would be done as the first retirement on the Sepang International Circuit. Bottas will look to bounce back next round out in Singapore.
