Perez finished 19th in the Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia Formula 1 race at the Sepang International Circuit on Sunday.
Analysis:Like many other drivers, Perez would make the blunder of starting this wet race on slick tyres. He would be the first of the day to pit on lap 1 and take on intermediate tyres for better grip. Perez would climb up to P13 by the first safety car period of the day as a result. As other drivers began to get a grip on the conditions, Perez would fade one spot at a time back through the field. He would settle into the last car running on the lead lap and a couple of retirements would promote him to P19 by the end of the grand prix.
