Gasly finished 16th in the Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia Formula 1 race at the Sepang International Circuit on Sunday.
Analysis:Gasly would roll off a strong P9 at the lights out for Sunday's Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia. However, the decision to start this wet race on slick tyres would be a crucial mis-step and he would pay with early track position. Gasly would drop to 18th-place by lap 3 and become mired deep in the field. His Alpine machine would show great straight line pace and actually set the highest top speed of the race. Still, the lost track position was near-impossible to recover and Gasly would finish a disappointing 16th-place at the Sepang International Circuit.
