Bearman finished 14th in the Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia Formula 1 race at the Sepang International Circuit on Sunday.
Analysis:A poor qualifying effort on Saturday would see Bearman not advance out of Q1 and qualifying 18th on the grid. He would start P16 thanks to some pre-race grid penalties and demotions to other drivers. He started on slick tyres and that would not help matters as he would have to pit on lap 10 for intermediate tyres in the wet conditions. Bearman would perform an undercut on the second round of pit stops and that would help to propel him forward. Despite all these challenges the Haas F1 youngster would climb to a reasonable P14 by the checkered flag.
