Piastri finished sixth in the Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia Formula 1 race at the Sepang International Circuit on Sunday.
Analysis:Starting the race in wet conditions with medium tyres was a huge strategy risk. Piastri would recognize on the opening lap there wasn't enough grip and would pit for intermediate tyres on lap 2. He would tumble to 10th-place but mitigate the track position lost with the quick decision. The McLaren youngster would steadily pick his way back forward and hold off a late challenge by Liam Lawson to secure a steady sixth-place finish at the Sepang International Circuit and collect 8 valuable points for McLaren.
