Perez finished 15th in the Monaco Grand Prix Formula 1 race at The Circuit de Monaco on Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
The Cadillac F1 veteran started 18th on the grid and was able to make good ground early. However, a lap 4 pit stop would put him back in the field. Perez would battle his way forward to P11 late in the race and challenge for Cadillac's first-ever points in an F1 race. However, he would line up incorrectly on the standing restart of lap 68 and the stewards would hit Perez with a 10-second penalty, dropping him to P15 after the checkered flag. It was an unfortunate result after a great day-long effort in Monaco.
