Magnussen finished 14th at the Belgian Grand Prix F1 race at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps on Sunday.
Analysis:
A poor qualifying effort would put Magnussen on the backfoot again this round. He'd roll off P17 at the lights out and get to work on improving his running position. Magnussen ran a very long opening stint and pitted out of P9 on lap 17. That strategy seemed to work better than many of the drivers who attempted the undercut. The Haas F1 driver would only pit that one time on a day when most drivers pitted twice for fresh tyres. The move paid off and Magnussen ran a mega second stint to finish 14th-place in the Belgian GP.
