Ocon suffered a suspected gearbox issue and ended up 19th in Friday's qualifying for the inaugural F1 Sprint of 2022 at Imola, Formula1.com reports.
Analysis:
The Alpine talent is off to a great start this season and has fetched points in each of the first three events to kickoff the 2022 season. However, that looks to be in some jeopardy this weekend in Imola. Ocon would return his Renault to the garage area as Q1 was concluding and parked it for the day with a suspected gearbox issue. He will start Saturday's Sprint deep in the field at P19.
