Granada win Spanish 2nd division, Las Palmas also promoted
Granada sealed a swift return to La Liga and clinched Spain's second division title with a 2-0 win over Leganes on Saturday.
Las Palmas also booked their place in the top flight next season by holding Alaves to a 0-0 draw on the final weekend of La Liga 2, finishing three points behind Granada.
Levante, third after a late win over Real Oviedo, are in the play-offs along with Alaves, Eibar, and Albacete.
Myrto Uzuni sent Granada ahead just before half-time and Bryan Zaragoza netted the second after the break as they eased to victory over Leganes.
The Andalusian side were relegated from La Liga in 2022, finishing 18th, but returned at the first time of asking as champions despite losing 11 games, more than the five sides beneath them.
Las Palmas had been stuck in the second division for five seasons after dropping down from the top flight in 2018.
