Atletico Madrid couldn't contain Liverpool in the opening 13 minutes of Tuesday's Champions League encounter.

Five minutes after Mohamed Salah opened the scoring, Naby Keita added to the home side's misery with a thunderous volley to double Liverpool's lead at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.

Atletico Madrid came roaring back before halftime to level the match at 2-2 through Antoine Griezmann's brace, but a Salah penalty late in the second stanza - after Griezmann had been sent off - decided the five-goal affair.
