Sevilla huffed and puffed, and Wolverhampton Wanderers finally caved in.

Lucas Ocampos nodded in Ever Banega's cross in the 88th minute on Tuesday to break Wolves' resistance and secure a 1-0 victory.

Sevilla will now face Manchester United in the Europa League semifinals on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Shakhtar Donetsk thrashed FC Basel 4-1 to set up a meeting with Inter Milan on Monday.

Wolves' season ends a whopping 383 days after it started. Nuno's side began the 2019-20 campaign with a Europa League qualifier on July 25, 2019, and logged 59 matches in all.

It was all Sevilla after Raul Jimenez missed a penalty in the first half. Jimenez hadn't missed any of his previous eight spot-kicks. There was some suggestion Sevilla defender Diego Carlos had entered the penalty area before the kick was taken, but the Video Assistant Referee declined to take action.

Wolves kept themselves in the game with some fantastic defending, limiting Sevilla to speculative shots from distance, but ultimately paid the price on a corner kick. Suso played it short to Banega, who had ample time to pick out Ocampos in the area.

Ocampos scored his 17th goal across all competitions in what has been a breakout season for the 26-year-old winger.
