Supporters at St Mary's Stadium on Wednesday had barely settled into their seats before Sadio Mane sent the ground into a frenzy.
Only 40 seconds into Southampton's Capital One Cup fixture versus Liverpool, Mane got his head to a cross from Ryan Bertrand and opened the scoring, giving the Saints a ridiculously early lead.
The goal marked the quickest of the 2015-16 Capital One Cup so far and continued Mane's phenomenal run of form in the competition.
