Victor Valdes included in Manchester United's Premier League roster
Victor Valdes hasn't been completely banished by Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal after the Spanish 'keeper was included in the team's Premier League squad.
The former Barcelona player, however, didn't make the cut for United's Champions League roster.
It's a surprising turn of events considering Valdes was left out of the team's preseason group, with van Gaal repeating the 33-year-old would be sold if he refused to play with United's reserve side.
While it appears the two have clashed behind closed doors, Valdes is staying positive about his position with the Red Devils:
Valdes had looked to be a certainty to leave United before the transfer window closed. A potential deal with Turkish side Besiktas fell through on Sunday.
United's other star 'keeper, David De Gea, found himself in a similar situation when his proposed move to Real Madrid fell apart in the final minutes of the window. The Spaniard was included in both the Champions League and Premier League rosters.
