Report: Stoke City rejects Norwich City's £1.5M offer for Jonathan Walters
It appears Norwich City attempted to get some business done with Stoke City ahead of its encounter with the Potters at Carrow Road on Saturday.
Norwich's approach, however, was unsuccessful as it attempted to lure striker Jonathan Walters away, only to see Stoke reject an offer worth £1.5 million, according to John Percy from The Telegraph.
The report also notes that Walters' future at the Britannia Stadium is unclear following a failure to reach an agreement on a new contract. The striker's contract is set to expire next summer, but Stoke are unwilling to meet his demands of a three-year deal as they prefer to sign him to a two-year contract.
The 31-year-old, who joined Stoke from Ipswich Town in 2010, has found the back of the net 50 times during 214 appearances.
