"I am happy to get away from some of the negativity that surrounded me at Man United."
Those were words of Tom Cleverley after joining Aston Villa on loan just before the closure of the transfer window. The 25-year-old came under immense criticism for his performances on the pitch towards the end of his time at Old Trafford, and he received some online abuse from United supporters during a recent Q&A on Twitter.
Judging by the following video of Cleverley undergoing an initiation with his new club, it seems the midfielder is hoping for a better reception at Villa Park as he asks his teammates to "Stand By Me" through the power of song.
