Preparations for life after Luis Suarez appear to be underway at Anfield.
Liverpool have agreed to a deal for Lille and Belgium striker Divock Origi, according to reports.
The BBC states the deal could be worth £10 million and the two sides will discuss terms later this week.
Origi, 19, was selected over striker Romalu Lukaku to start in Belgium's last two matches of the World Cup in Brazil and registered one goal in five appearances.
The striker only started 12 matches for Lille in Ligue 1 in France, scoring five goals in 30 appearances for the club.
Liverpool are also expected to complete a deal for Benfica winger Lazar Markovic that would cost the Merseysiders £25 for the 20-year-old's services.
It's believed that both moves are being made with the anticipation that Suarez will be sold to Barcelona for a reported see of £75 million in the coming days/weeks.
