Cody Gakpo has decided to join Manchester City in the final days of the summer transfer window. With Liverpool on the verge of adding Bradley Barcola, the Dutch forward was made available on the market.
Gakpo was also being tracked by free-spending Tottenham, but has instead opted to link up with Enzo Maresca's team. Man City and Liverpool are now working to come to terms over a transfer. (The Athletic)

Enzo has agreement: Enzo Fernandez has a verbal agreement with Manchester City over contract terms. His potential transfer from Chelsea is entirely dependent on whether or not the two clubs can now agree on a fee. Man City haven't sent an official bid to Chelsea yet. (Fabrizio Romano)
