Arsenal must look elsewhere for attacking reinforcements after Vinicius Junior opted to sign a six-year contract extension with Real Madrid, thus ending speculation that the Brazilian superstar could join the Gunners.
The Premier League champions also missed out on Morgan Rogers this summer, and PSG's Bradley Barcola, another Arsenal target, reportedly prefers a move to Liverpool. Arsenal may reignite its pursuit of Julian Alvarez to bolster Mikel Arteta's attack, but the player now firmly back in the picture is Athletic Bilbao's Nico Williams.
