Latest transfer news and rumors: Ter Stegen nearing Barcelona exit
The transfer window is officially open throughout Europe, and the rumor mill is in overdrive. Check in every day for all the latest buzz from across the soccer world.
Top story: Ter Stegen open to joining Inter
Barcelona want to offload Marc-Andre ter Stegen after the veteran goalkeeper spent a lot of last season in the treatment room. The Catalan outfit has already signed Joan Garcia from Espanyol and Wojciech Szczesny is still on the club's books, seemingly making Ter Stegen surplus to requirements.
Barca could even let the 33-year-old leave on a free transfer to ease the wage bill. Monaco and Galatasaray have registered an interest in Ter Stegen, but Inter Milan appear to be the likeliest destination for the German after they joined the race for his signature. (Sport)
