Warning: Video contains coarse language
Premier League referee David Coote was suspended after a video went viral of him making disparaging remarks about Liverpool and their former German manager, Jurgen Klopp.
The veteran match official was banned "with immediate effect pending a full investigation," the Professional Game Match Officials Limited said in a statement Monday, according to Paul MacInnes of The Guardian.
Coote referred to Klopp as a "German c--t" and called Liverpool "shit" after being asked by an acquaintance about his feelings on the two.

In a separate clip, Coote warns that the video of him criticizing Klopp and Liverpool shouldn't be shared.
"Just to be clear, that f-----g last video can’t go anywhere, seriously," he said.
Coote, one of the Premier League's most experienced officials after making his debut in 2018, refereed Liverpool's win over Aston Villa on Saturday.
