Arsenal and Manchester City are on the brink of completing their second deal of the summer.
Defender Oleksandr Zinchenko is expected to join Gabriel Jesus at Arsenal after the north London club and City reached a verbal agreement over a transfer fee worth around £30 million, Fabrizio Romano of The Guardian reports.
Zinchenko has yet to agree to personal terms but will become Arsenal's fifth signing of the summer once he puts pen to paper on a long-term contract with the Gunners.
The versatile Ukraine international developed into a solid left-back during his six years at the Etihad Stadium. He has also proven to be competent in covering other positions, including central midfield.
The 25-year-old made 15 Premier League appearances during Manchester City's title-winning season.
Jesus completed his blockbuster transfer to Arsenal earlier this month in a deal reportedly worth £45 million.
Zinchenko's departure could pave the way for the reigning Premier League champions to increase their efforts to sign Brighton & Hove Albion left-back Marc Cucurella, Romano adds.
