Alexandre Lacazette is preparing for life after Arsenal.
With his contract set to expire in June, the French forward is seemingly ready to close the chapter on his Arsenal career after revealing that he's held talks with multiple teams, including former club Lyon.
"I'm in discussion with a lot of clubs, I'm open," he said in an interview with Canal Plus, as translated by ESPN.
He added: "I never cut contact with Lyon since I left. Now Lyon know that I'm free. … It's a bit more complicated. I want to play in Europe. It's been a long time since I've played in the Champions League, I miss it.
"Nothing is impossible in life, but it's a bit more complicated."
As things stand, Lyon are set to miss out on Europe next season. The Ligue 1 side resides in eighth place, four points back of the last Europa League qualifying spot.
Arsenal's hopes of returning to the Champions League have been severely damaged after losing three Premier League games in a row, including Saturday's defeat to Southampton, which Lacazette missed due to COVID-19.
The 30-year-old, who joined the Gunners from Lyon in 2017, has struggled as Arsenal's go-to scorer since Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's departure in January, scoring just once in 11 Premier League matches.
