Christian Eriksen is playing some of his best football at the right time.
Tottenham's star midfielder fired a 25-yard stunner past Crystal Palace goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey late Wednesday to decide a tight contest at Selhurst Park.
The 1-0 victory is Spurs' eighth win in a row in the Premier League and keeps them within four points of title-chasing Chelsea with five matches remaining.
It also gives them 74 points on the year, their highest total in a single Premier League campaign, according to stats guru Opta.
Tottenham's fine form over the past couple of months owes a lot to the contributions of its tricky Dane, who has now had a hand in 16 goals in his past 12 outings.
