Pogba limps off with apparent leg injury vs. Fenerbahce
Paul Pogba only lasted 30 minutes of Manchester United's Europa League tie at Fenerbahce on Thursday, hobbling off the pitch with an apparent leg injury.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic came on to replace the world-record signing.
The 23-year-old Frenchman appeared to suffer the ailment as he went into a challenge with Fenerbahce's Josef de Souza early in the first half. Clearly aggrieved by the tackle, Pogba thumped the ground in anger.
Though he tried to run off the problem, he couldn't continue.
It could yet represent another blow to Jose Mourinho's first season at the helm. Having already lost Eric Bailly for two months, the Portuguese may be without two of four of his summer signings.
Should Pogba's injury prove serious, Bastian Schweinsteiger could even end up back in the matchday squad. The former Germany international was recently allowed to return to full training with the rest of the senior team.
With Ander Herrera also suspended for Sunday's trip to Swansea, Mourinho may to have get creative with his midfield choices over the next few days.
