Klopp bemoans Liverpool showing: 'We weren't brave' after bright start
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was pleased with his side's first clean sheet of the season in Monday's dour goalless draw with Manchester United, but was left disappointed by the Reds' impotent attacking display.
Jose Mourinho's side locked down the typically vibrant Merseyside club, and the German gaffer said his men lacked both bravery and patience during the encounter at Anfield.

"We didn't play as well as we could have played," Klopp said. "We started OK and immediately with their defending we weren't brave anymore, we didn't wait for the right pass.
"They didn't create chances, maybe two in the second half and De Gea made two or three great saves but in the end our performance was not what it should be."
Liverpool, fourth in the table after the result, could muster a mere three shots on target. If nothing else, a lackluster showing up front was offset by a stellar performance at the back, something that has been rare for Klopp's men this season.
"It is a first clean sheet, so yippee," he said, somewhat mockingly.
"We weren't calm enough, that is their style, that is OK. You need to have respect but be cool. That is not the way we want to play, but I accept it.
"We got a point, there are worse things in the world."
