Efforts to lock up Arsenal's most prized assets is set to begin.
Arsenal will attempt negotiate new deals for stars Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez in the coming days, according to manager Arsene Wenger.
Despite the pair being bound to the club for a further two seasons, Wenger is intent on securing their services even further by offering them improved contracts.
"Ozil and Sanchez, we will start to talk for their extensions," Wenger told reporters.
The pair cost Arsenal a combined £77 million, with Ozil arriving from Real Madrid for £42 million in 2013, and Sanchez making the move from Barcelona for £35 million a year later.
Both have contracts that will run until June 2018.
