After five consecutive seasons on loan, Borja Baston found a permanent home on Thursday.
Swansea City completed the signing of Borja from Atletico Madrid for a club-record fee of £15.5 million, as the Spanish forward inked a four-year contract with the Swans after undergoing a successful medical. The payment eclipses the £12 million that the Welsh club spent on acquiring Wilfried Bony in 2013.

Borja, 23, is a product of Atleti's academy, but his only appearance for Los Colchoneros came in 2010 in a fixture that saw him tear an anterior cruciate ligament. He was then loaned out to Real Murcia, SD Huesca, Deportivo La Coruna, and Real Zaragoza before spending last season on loan at SD Eibar, where he scored more goals than any other Spaniard with the exception of Aritz Aduriz and Ruben Castro.

At Liberty Stadium, Borja will take the pitch alongside compatriot Fernando Llorente, who joined Swansea from Sevilla only five days ago.
