Twitter reacts to Ozil's omission from PFA Team of the Year
The biggest surprise from the 2015-16 PFA Team of the Year is the name it's missing. Mesut Ozil is near a Premier League record in assists this season, and yet he couldn't find a place in the annual XI as voted on by the players.

Predictably, Twitter offered its share of humour and debate about the omission.
The funny
When Payet misses two months of the season, plays for 'tinpot West Ham', but still makes Team of the Year over Ozil. pic.twitter.com/LG9Ao506T3

Arsenal fans to the #PFA when they find out Ozil doesn't make the Team of the Year.. https://t.co/CZcXz7Olm0

The hypocrisy
Wenger said Ozil should be PFA player of the year. Ozil didn't even make it into the PFA team of the year.

Ozil nominated for player of the year but not in the team of the season? Twice the player of Payet and Alli.

The reality
The entire point of these things is to get people to argue with each other. But, Alli over Ozil is just silly. https://t.co/HHAvviwoTU

Reminder that Tom Cleverley has assisted as many PL goals in 2016 as Mesut Ozil (2).

Don't see the 'snub' chat over Ozil...Drinkwater and Dier would be next in line infront of him surely??
