Willian returns to Fulham for 2nd spell
Fulham announced Thursday they have re-signed Brazil international Willian on a deal until the end of the season, just months after he left the Premier League club.
The 36-year-old former Chelsea winger played for Fulham from 2022 until 2024, joining Olympiakos in September last year.
As Willian was a free agent, his move did not need to be completed before Monday's 6:00 p.m. ET transfer deadline.
Willian has played 317 times in the Premier League, scoring 47 goals during spells with Chelsea, Arsenal and Fulham.
"I'm really happy to be back here," he said. "I think it's a great opportunity again to play for this club, and I'm fully motivated to get on the pitch and do things well for this club.
"I'm completely happy, my family's happy. We are happy to be back, and I think we can do good things until the end of the season."
Marco Silva's Fulham, ninth in the Premier League, face League One Wigan in the FA Cup fourth round on Saturday.
