Chelsea are prepared to cut ties with Tammy Abraham this summer in an effort to maximize the England striker's value, according to James Olley of ESPN.

Premier League rivals West Ham United, Aston Villa, and Newcastle United have shown an interest in the 23-year-old and could attempt to sign him after the season, Olley reports.

Abraham helped Villa win promotion to the Premier League during a wildly successful loan spell in the Championship - with 26 goals - in 2018-19.

Though Chelsea will consider offers in the region of £40 million, teams are confident that Abraham - who has two years remaining on his contract - can be signed for a lower fee, Olley adds.

Abraham is reportedly ready to leave Stamford Bridge in an effort to revive his career. He hasn't started a game since Feb. 20 and hasn't recorded a Premier League goal since December.

He led Chelsea scorers with 17 goals in the Premier League last season, but the arrivals of Timo Werner and Kai Havertz last summer have resulted in his role being reduced. Abraham has just six goals in 21 league appearances.

Chelsea reportedly discussed signing him to a new deal, but talks stalled due to Abraham's reservations about reduced playing time under manager Thomas Tuchel. The club is reportedly in the market for a new striker this summer.

The Blues have been linked with Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland, outgoing Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero, and Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez.
