Heung-Min Son will be available for Tottenham's next three domestic matches after the FA rescinded his red card for the tackle that led to Everton midfielder Andre Gomes' gruesome ankle injury Sunday.

Son, who was visibly distraught at the sight of Gomes writhing on the pitch, was initially shown a yellow card for the challenge by Martin Atkinson, who then upgraded it to red.

The Premier League explained that rationale after the match, noting: "The red card for Son was for endangering the safety of a player, which happened as a consequence of his initial challenge."

Spurs appealed the decision, and an independent regulatory commission deemed that the South Korean forward didn't warrant a sending off.

He'll now be available for upcoming matches against Sheffield United, West Ham, and Bournemouth.

Gomes, meanwhile, underwent surgery Monday and is expected to make a "full recovery."
