Hazard: 'I think it is a goodbye' to Chelsea after Europa League win

If this was his last act for Chelsea, Eden Hazard got the perfect send-off.

After scoring twice and setting up another in the Blues' 4-1 victory over Arsenal in Wednesday's Europa League final, the Belgian was, inevitably, asked about his future amid ongoing talk of a summer move to Real Madrid.

"I have made my decision already and now I'm waiting on both clubs. I think it is a goodbye, but in football you never know," he told BT Sport, via the BBC. "My dream was to play in the Premier League and I have done that for one of the biggest clubs so maybe now it is the time for a new challenge."

Despite coyly discussing his desire to make the switch to Madrid multiple times in the past, this was the clearest indication yet that the 28-year-old will be playing in the Spanish capital next season. The Blues, though, are reportedly holding out for at least £100 million to part with their prized asset.

The dazzling winger has developed into the club's attacking catalyst since moving to Stamford Bridge in 2012 from French side Lille. In that time, Hazard has helped the west London outfit capture two Premier League titles, one FA Cup, and, after Wednesday's triumph, two Europa League crowns.
