Zlatan Ibrahimovic is anything but a conventional forward. And that's precisely why he's so adored and revered around the football world.

On Saturday, the Swedish star scored his 500th goal in typical fashion with an insane, spinning backheel.

In honor of the 35-year-old reaching yet another milestone, theScore attempts the impossible and ranks the 10 most mind-blowing goals of Ibrahimovic's illustrious career:

10. Low-key MLS debut (2018)

It didn't take long for Ibrahimovic to make his mark in North America. He opened his Major League Soccer scoring account with an effort from distance in his first match for the LA Galaxy.

9. Long-range bullet (2004)

The legend of Zlatan was beginning to gain steam by the time he fired this thunderous strike for Juventus that found the top corner at the near post against Benfica.

8. Free-kick nearly takes off 'keeper's hands (2009)

Sometimes Ibrahimovic can find the back of the net even when he shoots directly at the 'keeper, which is exactly what happened when this rocket of a free-kick zipped through the hands of Real Zaragoza's netminder during his brief spell with Barcelona.

7. 500th (2018)

To the surprise of no one, Ibrahimovic scored his 500th in spectacular fashion.

6. Reggina chip (2009)

Ibrahimovic's ambition was on full display when his mouthwatering chip from outside the penalty area soared over the Reggina goalkeeper's outstretched fingers almost a decade ago.

5. Rocket man (2012)

Ibrahimovic absolutely destroyed Anderlecht with a quartet of goals in the Champions League, but it's his rocket of a strike that had the football world buzzing.

4. Bar down (2009)

Does it get much better than a well-hit blast clanging off the underside of the crossbar and in? No, no it does not.

3. Ibra scores when he wants (2011)

His ability to adapt while under pressure from defenders was perhaps best displayed against Lecce in 2011 when he opened the scoring for AC Milan with an extraordinary long-range left-footed strike - with his body positioned at an awkward angle, no less.

2. Ibrahimovic humiliates an entire team (2004)

The kid from Malmo caught the world's attention in 2004 after word began to spread of his wonder goal for Ajax when he seemingly dribbled past NAC Breda's entire team before scoring with ease.

1. The day Zlatan embarrassed England (2012)

Ibrahimovic had this to say, according to Eurosport, of his sublime, Puskas award-winning strike against England: "It’s probably the goal I enjoyed the most, of all the goals I’ve scored for the national team. I’ve played a lot of good games. I’ve scored many nice goals."
