Mourinho says Manchester City lack class after watching documentary

It's safe to say that Jose Mourinho isn't a fan of Manchester City's fly-on-the-wall documentary, "All or Nothing."

The reception has been mainly positive since the Friday debut of the series, in which Amazon Prime was granted unprecedented access during City's record-breaking journey to winning the Premier League last season.

In an episode previewing last season's derby at Old Trafford, the narrator says: "It is Guardiola versus Mourinho once more; possession versus defense; attacking football versus 'park the bus.'"

That appears to have rubbed the Manchester United manager the wrong way.

In an interview with Sky Sports, Mourinho said, "You can have a fantastic movie while respecting others.

"You don't need to be disrespectful to have a fantastic movie. You can be a rich club and buy the best players in the world but you cannot buy class and they showed that clearly, that was really obvious."

Amazon Prime Video UK was quick to respond after catching wind of the 55-year-old's critical comments, tweeting: "Thank you to Jose Mourinho for watching."

Aside from what was included in the documentary, there was controversy in the immediate aftermath of the match last year, which City won 2-1 following Nicolas Otamendi's second-half winner. Mourinho was reportedly involved in a heated exchange with City goalkeeper Ederson, who is said to have thrown milk and water at the United manager.

Mourinho was also annoyed by celebrations in the visiting dressing room, where City players blasted music.

Despite finishing second, United avenged the loss by spoiling City's opportunity to win the Premier League title at Old Trafford after Pep Guardiola's side coughed up a 2-0 lead and went on to lose 3-2 in April.
