The Bundesliga made its much-hyped return to the pitch, and while many players showed signs of rust after the league's two-month hiatus, we were still treated to some moments of quality over the past couple days. Below, we're ranking the five best goals from Germany's top flight this weekend.

5. Renato Steffen (Wolfsburg)

The side-to-side buildup play for Wolfsburg's opener against Augsburg on Saturday is worth noting, but the true star of the show here is Renato Steffen and the incredible neck strength he displayed. Any time someone finds the net with a header from beyond the penalty spot, that deserves plaudits.

4. Erling Haaland (Borussia Dortmund)

Erling Haaland - of course - opened the scoring in Borussia Dortmund's 4-0 hammering of rivals Schalke on Saturday, but his left-footed finish was overshadowed by the sumptuous flick from Julian Brandt that helped create the opportunity. The German's delightful touch unlocked Schalke's defense, freeing setup man Thorgan Hazard on the play.

3. Daniel Ginczek (Wolfsburg)

Daniel Ginczek's last-gasp winner for Wolfsburg was all down to Kevin Mbabu's incredible persistence. The Swiss full-back beat three Augsburg players, showing off his skill, strength, and quickness before sliding the ball across for Ginczek's simple tap-in.

2. Pierre Kunde (Mainz)

Who needs teammates when you can just run directly through the opposition and beat the 'keeper yourself? That's precisely what Pierre Kunde did on Sunday. After picking up the ball some 40 yards from goal, the Cameroonian spotted a lane and jetted his way into the penalty area before keeping his cool and scoring the equalizer in Mainz's comeback draw against FC Koln.

1. Matheus Cunha (Hertha Berlin)

Matheus Cunha is no stranger to incredible solo efforts, and the Brazilian added another fantastic tally to his growing Rolodex on Saturday when he torched Hoffenheim's backline on a run from the near sideline in Hertha Berlin's 3-0 win.
