After allowing Ludogorets Razgrad to take a shocking lead inside the opening 10 minutes, Real Madrid looked poised to score an equalizer when Cristiano Ronaldo stepped up for a penalty kick minutes later in their Champions League group stage match.

It was a chance for Ronaldo to inch closer to Raul's tournament record of 71, but the Portuguese superstar's shot was bested by a wonderful save from 'keeper Vladislav Stoyanov.

Luckily for Ronaldo, he was given a chance at redemption moments later and easily converted from the spot for his 69th goal.
