Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Malik Tillman will miss Tuesday's home Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain with a thigh injury, the German club said in a statement on Sunday.
Tillmann, who has three goals in 26 games with the United States, suffered a muscle injury while on international duty.
The 23-year-old is expected to miss "around two weeks", ruling him out of Tuesday's match against the European champions and has him in doubt for Leverkusen's trip to league leaders Bayern Munich in early November.
The Germany-born Tillman has two goals in five Bundesliga games for Leverkusen since arriving in the summer from PSV Eindhoven.
