Paris Saint-Germain have no interest in sending Neymar back to Barcelona on loan, sources told Julien Laurens of ESPN.

It was reported earlier Monday that Barca will look to sign the wantaway Brazilian on an initial season-long deal with an option to buy in 2020. But Laurens reports the bid, expected to arrive on PSG's doorstep either Tuesday or Wednesday, "does not suit" the Ligue 1 giants.

PSG are ready to let Neymar leave, but only if they can recoup €200 million in the deal; the Parisian club splashed a massive €222 million to sign him from the Catalan side in the summer of 2017.

There are also concerns over Barcelona's ability to pay a lump sum in a potential transfer. PSG would like an immediate cash influx, according to Laurens, while the reigning Spanish champions prefer to pay in annual installments.

Last week, the Blaugrana were reportedly prepared to offer €100 million, Philippe Coutinho, and Ivan Rakitic in exchange for the Paris Saint-Germain star. The plan was scrapped on Monday when Coutinho joined Bayern Munich on loan.

Barcelona had hoped the addition of Coutinho and Rakitic would drive down Neymar's selling price, but PSG apparently had no interest in signing Rakitic.

It's believed the Ligue 1 giants would accept one of Nelson Semedo or Ousmane Dembele, but Barcelona reportedly have no intention to include either of them in a cash-plus-player offer.

PSG had already rejected Barcelona's opening offer of €60 million and Coutinho in July, and left last week's meetings feeling unsatisfied with the negotiations, Laurens reported at the time.

The reigning La Liga champions have already spent upwards of €200 million on Frenkie De Jong, Antoine Griezmann, Neto, and Junior Firpo this summer.
