Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who seriously injured his knee in the same April fixture as Rojo, took a place on the bench for a second consecutive match.
United is now as close to full health as it has been in months. Paul Pogba, who dealt with his own hamstring concern, has also returned to captain Jose Mourinho's side in Switzerland.
