Hulk is officially the newest member of the Chinese Super League, after completing a move from Zenit St Petersburg to Shanghai SIPG in a transfer that will see the Russian outfit receive €56 million.
"Hulk has undergone medical examination and the club has just signed the contract with him," Shanghai SIPG said in a statement, as translated by ESPN FC.

The Brazilian international will reportedly become the league's highest-paid player after agreeing to a contract that will pay him an annual salary of €12.5 million, with the chance to earn more from bonuses.
The transfer fee also reportedly represents a new league record, exceeding the €50 million Shakhtar Donetsk accepted when it sold Alex Teixeira to Jiangsu Suning in February.
The powerful forward is the latest in a number of high-profile players to make the move, following in the footsteps of Teixeira, Ezequiel Lavezzi, Gervinho, Jackson Martinez, Asamoah Gyan, and others.
Hulk, 29, spent four seasons with Zenit following his transfer from FC Porto in 2012, scoring 77 goals in 147 matches.
