The Montreal Alouettes signed a pair of players on Tuesday, agreeing to terms on a one-year deal with fullback Dahrran Diedrick and a three-year pact with international quarterback Jonathan Crompton.
Diedrick, who spent from 2006-2012 with the Alouettes, won two Grey Cups with the team (2009 and 2010) before being traded to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in exchange for a fourth-round pick in 2013.
Crompton, a fifth round selection of the San Diego Chargers in 2010, bounced around between multiple teams in the NFL before joining the Edmonton Eskimos last season.
The 26-year-old pivot completed 30 passes for 451 yards and five touchdowns with the Eskimos in 2013. He was released by the team last week.
