The CFL Power Rankings are selected by a panel of theScore's football editors.

All sights are on the final leg of the marathon towards the 109th Grey Cup. With four teams clinching playoff berths and five teams still alive in the hunt, we assess who is and isn't finding their rhythm at the right time as we near the regular season's conclusion.

1. Winnipeg Bombers (12-2)

The top-ranked Bombers are closing in on a potential championship three-peat at their current pace. Winnipeg looked mortal after sustaining a couple of losses, but the team's still undefeated against the rest of the West division. Zach Collaros has thrown eight touchdowns to two interceptions entering the final week of September, while the defense has limited opponents to an average of 21.2 points per game.

2. Calgary Stampeders (9-5)

Calgary appears to have found its winning formula after benching Bo Levi Mitchell in favor of Jake Maier. With running back Ka'Deem Carey healthy, the offense is apparently heating up at the right time. Forget that Winnipeg swept them - the Stamps recently earned their first win over a team with a better record and clinched a playoff spot with four games remaining.

3. Toronto Argonauts (8-5)

Toronto has corrected course after navigating through some troubled waters in the middle of the season. The Boatmen have been feasting on divisional opponents recently, sitting atop the East standings. Receivers Kurleigh Gittens Jr. and Brandon Banks have found their strides alongside the Argos defense, which has allowed just 20.6 offensive points per contest and a league-best 24 touchdowns.

4. BC Lions (9-4)

BC's fortunes took a downturn following a devastating injury to MOP candidate Nathan Rourke in Week 11. Fortunately, the acquisition of Vernon Adams Jr. has provided a welcome spark for a Lions club that finds itself battling for seeding ahead of a possible West Division semi-final.

5. Montreal Alouettes (6-7)

With their win over Hamilton in Week 16, the Alouettes hold the tiebreaker over the Ticats and have a firm grip on second place in the East - just one game back of the Argos for No. 1 in the division. Eugene Lewis remains red hot, scoring 5 total TDs in four straight contests. Head coach/general manager Danny Maciocia's club is in full control of its destiny with five games remaining.

6. Saskatchewan Roughriders (6-8)

Inconsistency has kept Saskatchewan in the middle of the pack for a majority of the season. Quarterback Cody Fajardo took the brunt of the pain after eight sacks in a loss at home to the Elks in Week 15. Riders Nation recently voiced its displeasure after the team lost four of its past five games. Despite uneven play, Saskatchewan is in contention to battle for the final playoff spot in both the West and East based on the league's crossover rule.

7. Hamilton Tiger-Cats (4-10)

Nothing appears to be going as planned in Hamilton. Dane Evans has been efficient in his return under center. However, after pulling off a stunning upset over Winnipeg in Week 15, the Alouettes manhandled the Ticats last week. The team is under pressure to win at least half of its remaining four contests and hopes Saskatchewan epically falters so the Ticats can secure a playoff spot.

8. Edmonton Elks (4-10)

Time is running out on the Elks' playoff hopes. Edmonton finds itself three games back of a playoff seed with four games to go. Taylor Cornelius has been a steady hand under center, helping the team pull off an upset over Saskatchewan in Week 15. Can the Elks earn that elusive win at Commonwealth Stadium, or will they set a new league record for consecutive home losses, which currently stands at 14?

9. Ottawa Redblacks (3-10)

Inconsistency has been a main factor in the Redblacks' struggles to date. Ottawa's postseason ambitions took a substantial blow after a 30-point drubbing at the hands of the Argos, and Paul LaPolice has a handful of games left to try and salvage a campaign that has gone off the rails. Winning just one game in the last 22 contests could mean another offseason featuring significant changes in the nation's capital.
