No longer will Kosta Runjaic patrol the touchline at the Fritz-Walter-Stadion.
Runjaic announced his resignation as manager of 1. FC Kaiserslautern at a press conference Wednesday. His successor will be Konrad Funfstuck, former coach of the club's under-23 side and head of its youth training centre.
Runjaic was appointed as Kaiserslautern's manager two years ago and has seen the club win only two of its eight 2. Bundesliga fixtures this season. Most recently, the Red Devils were defeated 3-0 at home by Nurnberg.
