Bayern Munich midfielder Joao Palhinha returned to team training on Friday after a two-month absence as he continues his recovery from a thigh injury.
"Joao Palhinha's return to Bayern is approaching," the club said, adding the midfielder was "partially included" in team training on Friday.
The 29-year-old has not played since tearing a muscle in his thigh on international duty with Portugal in November.
Palhinha has played 13 times for Bayern since he arrived for a reported 51 million euros ($52.5) from Premier League side Fulham in the summer of 2024.
Bayern sit four points clear atop the Bundesliga table and host Ralph Hasenhuttl's Wolfsburg on Saturday.
