Juventus is set to add another imposing defender to its already impressive collection, as Medhi Benatia arrived in Turin on Thursday for a medical ahead of his move from Bayern Munich.
Benatia, 29, is coming off an injury-plagued season with Bayern in which he made only 14 appearances, but has extensive Serie A experience after spending time with both Udinese and Roma.
His addition to the Bianconeri squad should more than offset the loss of Martin Caceres, while also providing cover for the oft-injured Giorgio Chiellini.
Once the move is compete, the French-born Moroccan international will become the club's third marquee signing of the summer, joining Miralem Pjanic and Dani Alves.
